Cuttlebug ATC

I was at a loss today what to do,which does not happen very often lol,so decided to create some ATC's .......I make up a load of backgrounds up at a time some days, and rather liked this Cuttlebug one,but the colours did'nt fit in with what i had in mind,so out came the alcohol inks !
I rubbed over the embossing, what a suprise !! the silver paisley pattern showed through !
Do I love my Cuttlebug YESSSSSS lol,the rest was plain sailing and simple,I just love pretty.....havent used feathers for agesss,I have called it my Lilac Creation .The Lilac flower is a huge brad i found in my local craft store, which holds the feathers down nicely.

Oriental Altered Book

Inside Page

Back Cover
Front Cover

This weeks project an Altered Childs Board book I picked up in a charity shop,I havent done anything Oriental for ages, was just itching to get started on this one ! The size is quite small,It is 3"and a bit square
Front embellishment I used a Stampboard piece, they take alcohol inks well,I really must get some more colours ! I used Meadow Green on this, and an altered miniture domino, which was coloured with Sukra Stardust Pens.
The backing paper I fixed with glittered Modge Podge, leaves a lovely shiny surface, and will take a lot of wear.
The back cover I used gold embossing powder, and a coin all on Stampbord.
Inside page is a girl stamped onto alcohol inks.

Altered Moo's

What are Moo's you may ask lol .....they are tiny business cards sold on Flickr which you can have your own artwork on,but they have caught on in a big way to alter and collect by artists all over the world !......like ATC's i suppose, its fun to see how much you can create on such a tiny size, these I just hand decorated the backgrounds and collaged with punched flowers and brads.
A moo (mini)card measures 2,8 x 7 cm (ca. 1,1″ x 2,8″)

This one I altered a Rumikub game piece then glazed it over while still wet i added accent beads to the corner.

Beeswax ATC

This is for this weeks Mamma challenge,I wanted to try beeswax in my melting pot today, this is the result.
Mamma put up the vintage lady Pic as a challenge.........I shrunk it down to fit ATC size then dipped into the melted Beeswax while it was still hot I threw on some accent beads to give a bit of texture, then fixed onto card with lace and embellishments.

My room smells lovely ! lol
