All Wrapped up for Christmas !

Yes,everythings done all my Xmas prezzies wrapped ,cards gone,today i finished off two hand made gifts,one large sketch book,The cover handpainted with metalic acyrlics using a brayer,a napkin rose Mod Podged on,bookmark inside to match,pleased with that one,tempted to keep lol. The small one i used my vagabond machine to cut the pages and covers,used Kay&Co papers,then added some beads.Sooo easy and quick took about an hour to make ! (these things have to pay for themselves lol) I expect your all so busy getting ready for Christmas,hope you all have a lovely time and receive lots of crafty goodies. Its getting to feel like Xmas !

Still plodding on making my Christmas cards ! This is the first time i have ever made a card with my original watercolour painting on,I was remembering back to when I painted Snow Barns for a cancer charity,and thought maybe i can do some little ATC size ones to put on some of my cards this year,I did this little sepia one then matched it up with papers and diecuts,made a couple of flowers,put some sparkle on the barn roof,suprised myself thought it looked quite nice :) This is the actual card i did years ago,I donated it for charity,they published it for Christmas cards that year

Fabric Wall Hanging

The Challenge for this coming Monday in my local craft group is to create something in sepia colours,I have been wanting to get back to fabric and lace,this is what i came up with,took me all day yesterday I did enjoy myself though :) Its layered onto felt using pieces of lace i had in my stash but had to spray dye with Sticky Fingers walnut,the image is tranfered through my printer with freezer paper,thats the only way i can get a decent image,god knows how my printer survives this lol..........the medalions at the bottom I cut off an old top before throwing it away(recycling lol).I used alcohol inks on the key.When finished i backed it onto hardboard 8"x8" not forgetting to put the ribbon in between first for hanging!

Nearly Completed !

Was going to be a Fabric Book but paintings etc took over lol,after nearly 2 years,i,m at the end of it !

I,m working on more book pages,using Gesso with Tim Holtz backing papers,stamps and napkins

Brightening up a dull day !

Altered Domino Book

Hey ! i havent made a Domino Book for years,just got it into my head to make one today as the weather is so darn depressing! Anyway here it is,Mixed media,defintily ! I have used on this project 2 large domino,s, collaged butterflies, Anita,s 3D gloss, Alcohol inks, Stamps, Dylusion inks, Luminere paints, Ribbon, and some gold edging also a little butterfly charm. Colours are not matching perfectly,but i,m happy with it ! Closed Book

Rocker Christmas Card !!

A new challenge in my group to make a Rocker Card ! it certainly makes a change from the norm.......and enjoyable,I googled for a free template,but ended up making this by cutting round 2 diferent size tea plates ! New stamp by Magnolia,really like ! Just a couple more Ihave since done :)

The background is alcohol inks then stamped snowflakes into.

Girly Card

Another card ! this is totally not like me,but i find myself enjoying cardmaking again,makes a nice change. I have so many birthdays coming up this month so its just as well i,m enjoying creating these lol. The image is "Saturated Canary" loved colouring her in with promarkers,did lots of layers,lucky i have a layered diecut for doing this ,makes life easier :)) Soooo now to think about Christmas !

Gelli Plate Printing

At last i bought my Gelli Plate,it came today,these are my first attempts,loveeeeeee it,Lots of paint and experimenting tomorrow,just had to have a little play tonight ! Here you can see what its all about........ Now to cleanup ! :))

Made a little 6"x6" book to keep my prints in,then when i need papers for a tag/journal page etc i can just pull one out,its a bit thin at the moment,I mean to correct that by having an all day printing session SOON lol. Monoprinting here

Blue and Greens

Enjoyed myself in the local craft shop this week matching papers and ribbons,I also bought some "Spectrum Noir"alcohol ink pens to try,I,m thinking i like them better than Promarkers,they are also refillable,something else to collect!anyway enjoyed playing around with my new stash today,must thank Jo Oliver here for the stamped image,which i enjoyed colouring....

Gold !

This card I have entered for the "Gold" challenge for September, at "Crafters Companion" here Its the first challenge i have ever done,It does help me to get motivated,something to work for....... I have used diecuts, stamping also a little doiley.

Another Card !

Yes still making cards,I want to make a couple of fabric ones in this twisted easel style,maybe next week when things settle down here,new washing machine coming in today,I hate the hassle,just want a quiet life to craft lol. When i was at my crafters club,one of the girls Jo here let me stamp out some of her girly stamps on watercolour paper,been enjoying myself using my promarkers,concentrating on blending and shading,also used a bit of Flower Soft on this one. Another new dye from XCut,I 3D'd it with stickers on the back,you cant see from here,I like the effect. This is what happens when you have a little Gt Granddaughter to make for lol.
