Drying time

I lost my Mojo for awhile, life seems to get in the way, like dentists, doctors, and physio appointments,my Grand daughters asked me to do her wedding invites, but she is helping...........all this was going on then my son had to have Holly his dog put down she was so ill bless her, we all miss her so much,so now i,m attempting to capture her in oil while the memory of her is fresh in my mind, this is the first layer, just waiting for it to dry then i can concentrate on her fur, hopefully finish it in the next couple of weeks.

Then back to my Fabric Art or whatever takes my fancy.......I did do a couple of fabric postcards for my swap groups before all this happened ,below,Mixed media.

So sorry to hear about your son's dog, I know that losing a dog is like losing a member of the family. I am sure that he will love what looks like is going to be a superb likeness of his Holly.

Know what you mean about physio and doctors, sigh!

I'm sorry that your son lost his dog. It's true, they do become members of the family! I love your painting! Her eyes are beautiful and I especially like that she is looking right into your eyes. I'm sure your son will be very pleased.

Sorry to hear about Holly, but if she was so ill it was the kindest thing to do. Not a very nice thing to have to do but best all round for the dog and at the end of the day it's her interests you need to put first.

Your painting looks stunning already, she looks like she's enjoying herself there. Can't wait to see it when it's fully completed.

Great couple of postcards, especially love the green one.

Your painting is just amazing. My best fury friend, Jenny, will be 17 years old in October. I have been thinking of doing a painting as well. Life gets stressful sometimes and gets in the way of my creativity. Your post has inspired me!
