Happy New Year everyone !I have created my Art Journal and Planner for this year,just hope I can keep it up,I joined the Facebook group Journal 52,its a very large group of ladies who keep art journals,we get weekly prompts to help kick off a spark in our imagination ! my book is self made so I can add pages as I go,I have started off using my 6x6 Gelli Plate prints for backgrounds,which is going to be a challenge in its self lol.......
First week prompt being "Up Up and Away .
I was a bit worried showing the group my first attempt as its so not me,they seemed to like it lol.
I next Book is my 2014 Art planner which I totally made from scratch its a Faux Midori all put together by an elastic band system !the cover is faux leather which I sprayed with inks using a mask,each page is edged with Washi Tape,also to make more pages I put some tipin pages,below
Sooo that's the start of this year,hopefully its going to be a good one for all us crafters !
Yes I am trying something new to me the Finnabair style,I just loveee it !I get to use up all my broken jewellery lace,just about everything in my stash!then to top it all I can use Gesso, spray inks on it and paints !In other words get very messy haha,love !
