Beeswax ATC

This is for this weeks Mamma challenge,I wanted to try beeswax in my melting pot today, this is the result.
Mamma put up the vintage lady Pic as a challenge.........I shrunk it down to fit ATC size then dipped into the melted Beeswax while it was still hot I threw on some accent beads to give a bit of texture, then fixed onto card with lace and embellishments.

My room smells lovely ! lol

Hi Pattie,

I hope you're fit and well again - looks as though you are with these beautiful ATCs you've made!

I too love working with beeswax altough usually use a little quilter's iron and melt the wax directly onto the project (saves the bother of getting the melt pot out - I'm just lazy I think - lol!)

Anyway, back to your ATC - it's gorgeous and I love the added lace edge too.

Gorgeous, this has got me wondering if I can get a similar effect using a clear encaustic block, as its beeswax too. Must give it a try! Mayxx
