Beaded Purse

I spent a lovely day making this purse, its my old favorite Fabric Paper lol,I never tire of making this, each piece is unique,I never know how it will turnout, colourwise,
always pleasantly suprised.
The lace is dyed once again the old familar lace,I have a huge amount to get through lol.
Machine stitched, then lined with cotton and lace.If someone can explain how you drop the dogtooth (I think its called) on my sewing machine so i can do free sewing,I would be so pleased !

Hi, Pattie! This is so lovely.
I like the new look of your blog.

Really pretty Pattie. FYI - to drop the dogtooth you must first release the free arm by raising the bar of the reciprocator. After that use your scissors to disengage any spooled attachments. Upon completing that step you should be able to twist it counterclockwise and if it appears to be stuck a crowbar may be in order. Once you have it moved you might as well put it to the curb and mark it free cuz I think it's broke! Sorry, I don't know how to sew just couldn't resist :)

On our side of the pond we call it the feed dog! :O) I have a new machine and have been trying to figure that out, too.

I love this bag. It is really great, Pattie! I love your new work!

Love this Pattie... you are so clever with the fabric paper. Can't help with the feed dog I'm afraid... something I've been trying to figure out too. So I'll be watching your comments incase someone comes up with instructions!

Don't know about dog tooth or feed Pattie but your purse looks wonderful!

(I was so impressed by what Renee was saying at first until I read to the end - lol)

Absolutely beautiful Pattie. Very pretty idea and result. Usually you have a plate that covers the dog teeth, well on mine I do. Is it a singer or a brother? Look online at their websites and if it doesn;t say then email them asking. Freehand is very very difficult and you should always use a hoop. Hope this helps.

Patti, I wouldn't begin to give you suggestions about sewing! BUT...I love your Beaded Purse! The colors are wonderful, they remind me of the colors in a Sunset.
Thank you so much for the award you sent my way. Good luck with your "dog teeth/feed"
